Celebrating international day for disabled persons

On 4th November 2005, the above-mentioned hospital was celebrating the International Disabled People Day. The attendance was 80% of which it was good. This celebration was held in Cecil Emmet Park. The hospital manager at Vryheid District Hospital Mrs. M.T. Zulu was given a task to thanked all people participated and make this function successful. There were many participants, and the hospital Rehab Group like to thank Head Office, Zululand District Office, Vryheid Hospital Management, Primary Health Care Inkanyiso Primary School, Onompilo everybody supported this day from the beginning to the end. There were other government sectors invited e.g. Dept. of
Labour, Dept. of Social Welfare. These representatives were encouraging the
disabled to know their rights and they must fight corruption done by govt.
officials. |

| Mr. Ndunyelwa from head office was a guess speaker of the day. He encouraged
disabled people to take part on BEE, must be presented to the municipalities by
other disabled people and occupy senior management seats in the govt. sectors.
He mentioned that constitution of the country favours them to be educated .i.e section 9 from the constitution. Mr. Ndunyelwa is blind, but he can read by using finger tips. He passed masters in the University of Natal. Function was ended at 14H20, after that food was prepared to spoiled a party. |
