MMC camp a huge success at Abaqulusi health sub-district

Abaqulusi Health Sub-District had a very successful MMC Camp held at Hlobane Clinic on the 23rd and 24th of June 2011. Over 200 young men from communities around Abaqulusi turned up for the camp. The enthusiasm in the young men resulting in the huge turn-up is an indication on it own that these young men are yielding to the Departmental call for this healthy lifestyle responsibility. Throughout the camp these young men were addressed by health professionals on healthy lifestyle issues. Others addresses were from Community Izindunas and Provincial MMC Coordinator who were addressing these young man about manhood and patriotism. Department of Social Development representative and Ground Breakers from Love Life also kept them engaged and entertained. The Management of Vryheid Hospital would like to extend sincere gratitude to Dr Quazi and his team from Grey's Hospital and eDumbe CHC staff for their support. The event would not have been such a huge success without their participation. The next MMC Camp has been planned for the 07 and 08 July 2011 at Hlobane Clinic.
