Sinethemba support group visits
Appelsbosch
| On Thursday 19/05/05 a function with one of the HIV/AIDS support groups was
held in Appelsbosch Hospital.
The group with the name "Sinethemba" brought 20 of its members.
The main objective was to raise awareness in our community and get more patients involved in VCT and antiretrovirals. It was a very rewarding experience for patients the staff of our ARV clinic and our TB team. The group heard addresses from sister G. Dlamini, Dr Y. Graza and the Medical Manager, Dr G. Lopez. Many of the members of the group shared encouraging stories and they proof that caring together will make the difference in our battle against HIV. |
