Vision To provide desirable health status to the people of Nongoma catchment area and the hospitals in neighbouring areas.

Mission To provide a sustainable, co-ordinated, integrated, comprehensive and compassionate health services based on the Batho Pele principles through the district health system.

Objectives

• To provide safe, efficient, high quality district hospital services to the public
• To provide support to primary health care service falling within Benedictine hospital programme
• To disseminate health information to the public in order to prevent illness and diseases
• To develop an integrated comprehensive Human Resource development
• To promote a culture of good governance and accountability
