First year bridging course students: Group 4/2005


Clinical Nursing Science students with their tutors Mrs TR Simelane and Mrs SV Zungu (PHC group 9/2004)

The campus has four tutors and one principal. There are two intensive programmes offered by the this sub campus.
The first one is the Bridging course to R/N. The study duration is two years (decentralized ) The intake date for the Bridging course is April, its caters for approximately 30 students.

The requirements for this course are as follows:
1. Senior Certificate (must be verified)
2. Enrolment Certificate as an Enrolled Nurse
3. Current proof of registration with SANC
4. Professional Indemnity Coverage

Primary Health Care Programme
The months for the intake is March and September, which caters for approximately 10-15 students. Duration for this course is 18 months (decentralized )

The requirements for PHC course are as follows:
1. Senior Certificate (must be verified)
2. Professional Certificate as a Registered Nurse
3. Current proof of registration with SANC
4. Professional Indemnity Coverage

Enrolment Course: 1 year and 2 year programmes (Decentralized)
NB. On this field people are asked to apply only if the course is advertised. Applications for this course should be directed to the given address not to the institution.

NB: Students are obliged to sign study leave and fixed term contract provided by Department of Health

Bethesda sub campus focuses mostly on the clinical supervision, whereas Mseleni offers theory lecture
