Communicable Disease Control

The aim of this programme is to reduce morbidity and mortality associated with communicable diseases, by providing support and technical advice in order to develop and facilitate district based disease surveillance and outbreak response.

Flash reporting of priority diseases and epidemic prone diseases may be done through the Ops Centre for immediate response. Routine notification to the District Office is still required.
