Perinatal Problem Identification Programme (PPIP)

The Perinatal Problem Identification Programme (PPIP) is a well developed audit tool for assessing perinatal quality of care through auditing perinatal deaths. Since it was started in the mid 1990's, information (including detailed mortality review) from over one million births has been recorded. Through using the PPIP audit process, it is possible to make real improvements in the quality of care babies and their mothers receive.

This CD contains guidelines for the mortality review process and on conducting mortality review meetings. It also contains the PPIP programme file for you to install on your computer, the manual for finding out about and how to use PPIP, as well as all the forms required for getting started. Finally, the Saving Babies IV (2003) report is included pending the release of the latest Saving Babies V (2003-2006) report later this year.

N.B. After installing the PPIP software, the programme will expire after 30 days. To prevent this all you need to do is register. The manual, and help file on the programme itself, explain this process.
