Health Services Cluster

Mission:
The health services cluster will develop and sustain a provincial network of effective and responsive hospitals managed by dynamic and accountable leaders to deliver compassionate, high quality, affordable and accessible health services aligned to the district health system based on the primary health care approach by:

• Providing strategic direction for institutional service delivery
   
• Mentoring/coaching institutions initiatives for development and performance
   
• Co-ordinating activities between and amongst all stakeholders in health care
   
• Creating learning organisations through essential research
   
• Monitoring and evaluating performance

Striving for excellently functioning hospitals providing high quality, compassionate health care services to all persons in KwaZulu-Natal.
