Northdale hospital staff nurse lauded for her integrity

Nonhlanhla Fortunate Dladla, 31, a staff nurse at Northdale hospital returned R45 000 to the family of a deceased patient who was in her care.

For her act of integrity, she was given special award of recognition by the KwaZulu-Natal Department of Health on Saturday 7 June 2014 during the commemoration of International Nurses' day at Addington hospital. 

On receiving the award, she said "I have never received an award for anything before, so this is really special. This is how my mother brought me up -  to respect what's not mine and return something if found"
