Directions to the campus
On the N2 freeway, south bound, take the Higginson Highway off ramp.  Turn right into Higginson Highway.  Take the Croftdene off ramp, keep left and turn left into Chatsworth Circle

Courses offered by the campus

R.K Khan college of nursing is attached to the R.K. Khan hospital in Chatsworth.  The first lectures commenced in 1968.  The course offered at the college was the Diploma in General Nursing. In 1972 the first nurse's graduation ceremony was held when the first intake for 1968 had completed their training.  The Integrated Nursing Course commenced in 1986 and the Enrolled Nursing Programme recommenced in June 2003. R.K. Khan Campus is one of 3 campuses of the Natal College of Nursing which is affiliated to the University of KwaZulu-Natal.

Vision: To lead nursing education and to strive to achieve academic excellence that will produce a competent nurse practitioner capable of functioning independently in a transcultural environment within the realms of the ethical and legal framework of our county.

Mission: The R.K. Khan campus is committed to producing competent, responsible and caring nurse practitioners by empowering them with critical thinking and problem-solving skills in a supportive therapeutic environment

Accommodation: Is available at the nurses' residence for nurses in training

Future candidates wishing to apply for nurse training are advised to watch for the advert in local papers as applications are not accepted at the hospital or campus
