Stanger Hospital is a 500-bedded Regional and District Hospital. The hospital is
located in Kwa-Dukuza within the Ilembe
Health District.
The
Hospital serves an estimated population of 600 000 from the Ilembe
District.
Stanger hospital achieved 100% COHSASA accreditation in 2003. The
hospital was awarded the baby friendly status
in 2005 and maintenance of the baby friendly status in 2011.
