| Nurses Day of Prayer This event was held at the Port Shepstone Civic centre on the 10/10/2004. The guest speaker, who was the Deputy Director of Union component from Denosa gave an inspiring speech to the nurses who are still in South Africa and have not emigrated to the other countries such as the United Kingdom, South Arabia and Australia |

| Community Health Workers Graduation This graduation ceremony was held at Gcilima Sports ground on 14 November 2003. 305 community health workers from Ugu ( both contracted and ex Kwazulu) and 10% from Sisonke were issued with certificates. The community health workers are functioning in rural and deep rural areas and are bridging the gap between the Department of Health and the communities |
