The hospital was officially opened by the President of the Republic of South Africa on the 23rd of November, 2023, It was established with a clear mission: to deliver a sustainable and comprehensive high quality healthcare service to the growing population of over 1.2 million people in the northern region of eThekwini. Strategically located in KwaMashu, we are positioned to be a pillar of health, wellness, and hope for the community.

We are proud to bear the name of Dr. Pixley Ka Isaka Seme, a prominent and pioneering figure in South African history.
