EG and Usher Memorial Hospital
E.G.Usher Memorial Hospital is a district hospital in the Harry Gwala health district.
East Griqualand and Usher Memorial is a 185-bed district hospital situated on the outskirts of the Kokstad, alongside the main road to Matatiele.
The hospital serves patients from Kokstad, Swartberg, Franklin and Mzimkulu with cross borders from Mt Ayliff, Ntabankulu, Mt Frere, Lesotho and Bizana.
The hospital was the first to be awarded Baby Friendly Status in the Sisonke district. EG & Ushers offers a 24 hour service, an internal gateway clinic operating from 07h00 – 19h00 Monday to Friday.
