Vryheid Hospital
Vryheid Hospital is a level one Hospital in the Abaqulusi Sub-district, in the Zululand Health District. The Hospital serves about 230 474 people (this figure is based on Abaqulusi Municipality figures).
The Hospital is authorised to use 338 beds.
Vryheid Hospital has 15 fixed clinics, one youth center and three mobile clinics which have 58 visiting points.
“Quality Care is our Business” has been the motto that drove staff in service delivery improvement since 2006. Emphasis has been put on the “Preventative and Promotive is our business” since the beginning of 2008, hence our motto: “Quality Care and Preventative and Promotive Health is our business at Vryheid Hospital”.
