Our hospital is situated on Main Harding and Kokstad road in South Coast of Kwa

We are committed to excellence in service delivery which explains the copious awards we have in our name, which includes being awarded three times with Baby friendly status, Silver and Gold Premiers’ Good Governance award, COHSASA accreditation and many more.
Nationally Murchison Hospital is the first District Health Facility to have achieved accreditation on the 6th edition standards without facilitation from COHSASA and the first KZN Provincial Health Institution to achieve accreditation on the 6th edition standards

Kindly be notified that Dr WSJ Hardy, Medical Manager and acting hospital CEO has resigned with effect from 20 April 2010. The nursing manager Mrs NNP Ntuli is appointed to be the acting CEO and Dr Raghunathan as acting medical manager. We wish Dr Hardy all the best in upcoming endeavors, he will be dearly missed by all Murchison hospital staff.
