Mfundo Arnold Lushaba Community Health Centre
(formerly Turton CHC)

Mfundo Arnold Lushaba Community Health Centre/Poly Clinic is a new 24hr facility Under Ugu health district situated in Umzumbe municipality ward 19, serving a catchment population of about 47 922 and also supporting 7 other clinics.

It has replaced a rural clinic formerly known as Nyangwini, which was catering for a large number of people, about 7000 patients per month, and due to changes in disease profile, it could not meet the service delivery demands and hence the facility was too small and the Department of Health saw the need to open a CHC.
