The Pelebox, also known as a Smart Locker, has been designed and built by Technovera
Peleboxes have been allocated to various clinics to assist chronic patients who collect their medicines on the CCMDD Programme, to collect their medicines quicker and faster with the use of smart technology
The lockers contain medicine parcels for CCMDD patients packaged in brown boxes
Medicines used to manage all types of chronic conditions
The patient who is being registered on the CCMDD Programme chooses the Pelebox as a Pick Up Point. Thereafter, the medicine parcel is deliverd to the clinic. On the day before the scheduled collection date, the patient's parcel is loaded into the locker.
When the locker is loaded, the patient gets an SMS with a One Time Pin. The patient then comes to the locker, uses his One Time Pin or 13 digit ID number to open the locker.
The patient closes the locker and leaves with his parcel
Any patient on the CCMDD programm can choose the Pelebox
If the Pelebox is outside the clinic, it is accessible 24/7. In some clinics, the Pelebox is inside the clinic and these are accessible only during operational hours of the clinic
You are able to access the locker with your 13 digit ID number and your cellphone number. There is also an option to resend the Pin.
