Objectives:

Provide preventive and promotive Health Care to empower customers to take responsibility for their own Health

Promote access of communities to all levels of health care available in the Province through an efficient, effective and acceptable referral pathway

Provide adequate resources in order to ensure quality care in the Health Care Facilities at all levels of care

Develop capacity/competencies for the prevention, early detection and management communicable emerging and re-emerging diseases in the District.

Develop strategies for addressing the effects of poverty on the communities.
